As a white dude who owns a gun, I can tell you why we have a gun problem here. Money. The manufacturers bribe politicians. The answer to everything in this country is money, 100% of the time. Complex reasoning and motivations are a smokescreen for bribery, the simplest reason of all.

Let's not forget that giant corporations are accelerating layoffs to try and embed/prove out AI to justify and prop-up the AI economic bubble. Just so happens to be the literal worst possible time to be doing that.

It's easy to doom and gloom, myself included, but the Epstein Files can't hold out forever. Even if the Supreme Court got involved, Drumpf can't prosecute a single Democrat-leaning criminal in the files without smashing Pandora's box open on the ground.

Really, really just do not believe the narrative that Congress "turned on" or "rebelled" or any such garbage. No, they didn't. The work behind the scenes was done, the plan was finalized. Super disappointing to see some people who usually do great work parroting this nonsense.

I know there's a lot of inside baseball but it's much too "Dream come true" to believe that the all but 1 votes today were any form of backlash or betrayal of Drumpf. They are ready to proceed as planned and he said go.

Drumpf's "...we have nothing to fear..." either means a dramatic "orders to Pam Bondi" Lies Social exchange in which he orders her to release the documents and she says she can't because of the investigation and adds on some bullshit about her duty. Or the files are scrubbed.

Let's theorize the worst-case scenario, they immediately do release Trumpstein files scrubbed of all Republicans. Democrats then will have to try and cull their own ranks while what, suing to try and prove the documents were altered?

Okay so clearly Drumpf really did tell Repubs to vote for the release. I still don't get the strategy yet, this is looking like it will be 100% veto proof. Even as dumb as they are, they can't keep an investigation going for 3 years. It feels like crudely redacted documents? Doesn't make sense.

Still really unsure what the giant idiot tactic is for the administration being gung-ho to release the files. It will bebepically stupid to be sure, but in what way. Ham-fisted, obvious edits to only include non Republicans? Pocket veto seems too smart and their own base is getting tired.

Important distinction to remember. Politicians/members of this administration, any time you think to yourself, "Oh that's wrong! They don't know what they are talking about!" they are lying. They are just lying. Yes they are corrupt and stupid but they *know* it's a lie, that's the whole point.

Of course they are going to keep saying anyone who commits crimes for the president cannot be prosecuted. This is true because he will pardon them all. The hilarious irony being state crimes and literally *anyone* who is not the current administration does not give a fuck and will not.
