Bluesky is my safe space, so here it goes: The Oppenheimer script was bad and the movie was saved by its visuals. The women are so poorly drawn (Nolan is infamous for this) and the dialogue is thumping and heavy-handed. His films have a reputation of being intellectual but they feel shallow to me!

I've started to actually try and ask people out, but every time it's like "oh, I'm too busy now" or "I only want to be friends". Am I doing something wrong? Am I horrible? Or am I just super fucking unlucky? It feels harder to date than to get a job 😭

I lowkey hate when ppl say "you shouldn't feel bad about being 24 and having never dated" and yeah, sure, but I hate it and want to actually date someone, and with 0 experience it's hard to know how to even approach someone.
