I'm in California and a supporter of Newsom - Van Hollen is correct on this one though. It's a false choice to stand up for the Constitution vs. respond to an egregious breach of due process even if it's just one person-we can & should do BOTH. Thank you, Senator Van Hollen.

Too many Dem voters believe publicly critiquing their own while the other side lets their guy skate is an effective campaign strategy. Dems didn't need to criticize Biden-they needed to rally around him full stop
