No one has direct access to the world as it is. That's why I want to know how others see it.- I am a true democrat and a former university teacher (University of Eastern Finland, Education and Adult Education).
Lavrov, hasn't Putin revealed his intentions to you? It's the revival of the Russian Empire. His loyal propagandists dream of conquering Berlin and Paris. And crushing Polish resistance.

They are all built on one big lie, which, together with numerous smaller lies, creates an entire worldview, a particular kind of lifeworld, in which those who disagree are enemies. Even the citizens of their own country. Just look at Hungary. 5/5

...carbon emission limits, refugee reception, and aid to Ukraine that are contrary to their own interests. Opposition to the EU is stirred up by spreading misinformation or outright lies. It can be said that the propaganda of Putin, MAGA, and Euro-populists is fundamentally identical. 4/5

In normal interaction, lies can be proven false with better information. In totalitarian (and populist) discourse, lies do not die. Instead, they are repeated constantly. Why? Because totalitarianism (and conservative or right-wing populism) is always based on assumptions that do not... 2/5

...korkeammat tariffit Kiina-tuonnille. Miten on, demokratia vai rahadiktatuuri? 2/2

Europe did not take part in the elections. Surely I'm disappointed. Once again a billionaire fooled the voters. You know the saying; "You better vote rich people in power because they do not need to steal from the state". Oh, sure.
