I pulled a nice 34” ultrawide monitor out of the ewaste at work on Friday and I’ve finally figured out why it was thrown away.
It makes an unmutable series of beeps whenever it wakes up or goes to sleep. I might bring it back.

It hasn't always been endless drudgery trying to figure out how to do more with nothing and compounding administrative burdens from leadership with no concept of what they're asking actually entails?

Damn, I was excited to pull a Dell Precision 3240 out of the e-waste bin at work until I looked at DDR4 and storage prices.
Might actually be cheaper to buy a whole computer off of eBay than ram and storage to make this one work.
