I can no longer read any app named with the suffix "ng" (searxng, espeak-ng, etc.) without thinking "espeak-nate-graham"

Any screen reader devs out there mind shedding some light on how keyboard navigation is handled on Linux?
I assume it's up to Q/GK/whatnot. Am I correct?
Or is there a way the reader can send commands to the app, like "move here" or "select that?"

I fucked something up with my Rider install and now it has server-side decorations
I would be fine with that except for the fact it's throwing off years of muscle memory from it having client-side decorations

I wonder how many people out there are aware of screen readers being used in schools to help people learn to read. I've seen it quite a lot as a student. Or, well, heard it.
