Deltakit's SDK is 🔥: Python library built on Stim simulator. Generate #QEC circuits, add realistic noise, simulate, decode, and analyze.

All from one lib!

The #QEC skills shortage is real! 😱 Lack of training and knowledge is the community’s top pain point.

Deltakit's hands-on textbook & SDK are designed to fix this - and went down well at #IEEE. Learn by doing, experiment with diff codes/decoders, all in one place: deltakit.riverlane.com

🎉 Riverlane just dropped Deltakit! 🎉

This comprehensive platform for mastering #quantumerrorcorrection includes an SDK + textbook with practical examples, letting you dive into a library of codes, decoders, noise models + #QEC experiments.

Last week, Riverlane welcomed an inspiring group of women for our 2nd Bertha Swirles Workshop!

We delved into everything from #QEC fundamental to the intricacies of the surface code, and even explored the importance of IP in #quantum.

Here are the highlights: www.riverlane.com/blog/from-0-...

Sorry Nate! I didn’t realise you were behind the camera as I couldn’t make IEEE this year, many thanks! 👏🏻📸 Hope you had a good IEEE 🙂 what were your takeaways?

4️⃣ Real-time #QEC is shaping how QCs scale, but a one-size-fits-all soln isn't viable, according to a lively panel moderated by our VP Applied Research Neil

We must focus on how to tune #QEC tech to each system for utility-scale performance, HW-integrated approaches + trade-offs will be made

👋 Farewell #IEEE #Quantum Week #QCE25!

👀Some insights...

1️⃣🤝 Partnerships are driving progress across the stack as the #quantumcomputing industry begins a phase of system integration
2️⃣ Interest in OS + education are growing
3️⃣ Research across qubit types is advancing with no clear leader yet 🏃‍♀️

🤔GPUs, FPGAs, or ASICs for #QEC?

🧪Each has pros and cons:

🟢 GPUs: Throughput + parallel workload champs

🟢 FPGAs: Agile & adaptable for rapidly evolving #quantum systems

🟢 ASICs: Fab for optimised performance & low latency

But which one should you use NOW? www.riverlane.com/blog/gpus-as...

📣 Headed to the #QEC2025 next week? So are we!

#QuantumErrorCorrection is entering a new phase where ppl are ready to run real experiments. But many don’t know how or where to begin (according to our #QEC Survey 2025)

We're heading to QEC25 to help change that

👏Congratulations to the team for:

1) Their new arXiv paper, presenting "a new family of qLDPC codes that beat the rotated planar code while only requiring square-grid (or even hex-grid!) connectivity"

2) A brilliant meme 🙂🧪

There'll be an update at the end of the year in the 2025 report as things move so fast in quantum, but that might help. Good luck with the PhD!

🧪Get a (data) load of this!

🎓A former intern has a @quantum-journal.bsky.social paper!

It addresses classical data loading into a #QuantumComputer, by approximating the data with a piecewise polynomial (think splines!)
