Oh! And when in Korea, it's 100% this street food + a paper cup of the delicious magma-hot broth:
Odeng (a.k.a., eomuk) - flat Korean "fish cake" that's mostly flour based and folded up here into a squiggle onto wooden skewers. Costs about $1US each stick. (I'd easily eat $3 for a meal.). The paper cups in the bottom of the photo cups are there in case you would like to warm your hands around some *eventually delicious* (unless you can drink incredibly scalding liquids right away) broth to enjoy.

Top chilly day foods for me = apparently, mostly yellow:
Bowls of creamy butternut squash soup topped with green pepino seeds, optional crispy bread, spring of green, red pepper flakes, or even a swirl of cream Extra melty grilled cheese sandwich, cut the only proper - diagonal way! Thick, bready or doughy, dumplings in a unhealthily creamy chicken broth Simply, split-open sweet potatoes baked till creamy soft and slathered with butter and salt/pepper

I love that the first thing I did was try to compare this to the map I've been using!😆 Lovely to read it this was. I started the first 3, then finished Death, now halfway through Witches, myself💕

I visited an all kitty shelter and am trying to convince myself I don't need *both* of these cuties
