It's heartbreaking - I'm so sorry you had to go through all that. I'm sure the children and yp (and their families) really appreciated everything you did.

To allow the BBC to be defunded, decayed & ultimately destroyed by right wing ideologues is to finally submit to a society based on callousness & selfishness, and an end to what we have claimed for generations to be true British values.

I know it's so short sighted (and cruel). It must have been soul destroying for you to have to close projects you knew were reaching yp. We saw several local clubs & holiday schemes (inc for disabled yp) just disappear with nothing to replace them...
