...how would you even get a voted representative of a state/province without voting them in? a republic requires that the representative be voted in by the public, hence the name, republic: res-publicus, concern of the people

no, I figured that you just didn't catch on,"kill all cats!", and "we're just concerned for our children, these cats are a danger to them and we have to do something!", have the same outcome, it's just that one is more palatable to a wider audience than the other.

ah, you see, "killing cats campaign" is actually a simplified analogy I made for political actions and legislations that take people's rights away and actively incite violence and bigotry :) the kill all cats campaigners want killing cats to be legal, and they succeed often enough to warrant concern

I did actually answer your question lol, whatever violence is occuring, cops would be complicit in it, their job is to enforce the law, not to protect you (see: every school shooting and assault case ever)

and there's nothing moronic about it, if a cat tolerates the "kill all cats" campaign and gives them a platform to spread their ideologies, more people will start killing cats over time, therefore the cat shouldn't give the "kill all cats" campaign a platform.
