They are hated by the people that would always hate them but their decision making around the immigration and trans people have made people who would have supported them hate them also, it's essentially why I'm voting Green in Manchester. I'm not sure what the reprieve will be.

I don't think so, they haven't helped themselves and they should be thinking much more like we are going to be a one term govt at this stage and just get good things done but they are resistant to that. But there is just a general anti govt wave that has grown over time rolling on from Brexit

I remember being at a uni event in Bristol watching the film then flash forward to all the stuff coming out about it a few years later and realising oh I watched that.

It will be the accretion of errors, if it's acceptable now it will work it's way into their professional output (it's kinda happening already, lawyers etc citing made up cases etc) Then when all that material becomes the reference, with errors included, it gets ChatGPT'ed, more errors accrue.

We are all sidequesting in the face of impending doom or maybe it's just trying to procrastinate so we are not locked into the endgame and get the message if you go into work tomorrow you will not be able to finish the missions.

No worries it's been really long time since I watched them and figured her style might be off putting for your target, my overriding memory of them was they were more even handed than I was expecting!

Contrapoints on YouTube has 2 good long form videos on Rowling. They are 2 and 4 years old at this point though and it's been ages since I watched them myself. Generally pretty well researched. She can be cutting but they don't come across as personal attacks on JK. Maybe have a look then decide

Had this when I moved. I notified them of the move, paid off my final bill etc but my last month payment was weirdly low which I told them this at the time and was told fine, and then 6 months later was getting a court summons because I had failed to reply to letters being sent to the old address.

There is also something always about the eyes to with AI images like where are they focusing. Staring straight ahead seems to remove the worst of it but it is still there.

Most of the time growing up I spent with my 2 other brothers in one room and then my sister in the other. Wasn't until I was 15 when we moved to a house with a loft conversion that I got my own room. A 5 bed house still sounds like a mansion to me.

Wasn't one of the issues that EG brought back review scores was because metacritic tries to assign a score to the review anyway where there isn't one? So better to assign your own score than have someone else make it up for you.

People just don't know how to read full stop, multiple people saying it's dishonest but it's one of the most honest reviews you can read. Also the amount of stanning for AI, get with the program or get lost is weird.

What you brought up is very valid, I just also don't really believe that most journalists at EG want to be making the tip content etc but it brings views and money and that might be something to do with their ownership as well.

A mixed bag, like most websites? I'm not saying don't criticise either, but as an individual it is probably easier to hold a strong stance than it is across a website with many different staff members and with the need to be able to pay people.

Two anecdotes that arose in the same conversation. Friend of a friend got a tattoo of a swastika in Thailand in the 'eastern' style and I'm like not a good idea whatever style it is for a white girl to get one. Secondly, another person interjected why is it banned in Germany? Education is bad.

At the very least a security line for people who know how to pack. Always surprised by what people get caught out by still. No you can't take your nunchucks onboard.
