If you really have to choose between the two, pick a Steam Deck. Lots and lots of good games on Steam and you can emulate almost anything. You only miss out on Nintendo exclusives and even then, I bet Switch 2 games will run on the Steam Deck

If it does run games as they're intended, it'll be a good console. It was my main complaint about the orginal switch

I really want it to be Nintendo's raise from the dead as in recent years they have only disappointed me. As for the console itself, I'm not sure if I like the more rounded corners of the joycons but I think it looks clean

I really doubt it will be strong enough to compete with handeld computers like the Steam Deck but I really hope it will be strong enough to at least compare to last gen like PS4.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think the installation process have been made really easy by other users so you can now click a few button and you can access gamepass from gaming mode. It would still be nice though
