Maybe this becomes a bigger problem when they are a bit older but I’m pretty sure my 5 year old would accept “Oh wow, Santa must have bought the same wrapping paper we did!” Without issue.

I feel like a lot of the obsession with cat breeds is trying to treat them like dogs when they aren’t. Like when dog people decide they want a cat, they go research breeds like they would for a dog, and don’t realize that 99.9% or more of pet cats are just “cat”.

If shipping is relatively pain free I’ll definitely be buying more. But I imagine I won’t find out till after the sale is over :/

In Kingdom Hearts, every Disney movie is its own contained world. The Nightmare before Xmas world seems imply that all the holiday towns are like their own little contained worlds connected by that forest. And the Santa in Xmas town is THE Santa, he travels to all the different worlds on Xmas.

I feel like it must come from people who are originally dog people, since breed discussions are such a big part of dog ownership. They think it applies to cats too, when 99.99% of cats are “just cat”.

Like the entire history of Digimon name localizations is full of misinterpreted katakana and inconsistencies with other titles and it drives me up the wall.
