On rare occasions from calling they'll instead direct you to a WhatsApp chat, or a chat inside their app

I'm with 15 different banks so tbh I can't remember how all of them have been, just listing the most recent customer service chats I've had through Twitter

In some cases you get through to a call with someone and given your problem they actually just tell you to just DM them on Twitter because either they don't understand or because the problem is so "unique" you get passed around 5 times and don't get anywhere 🤷 (Still being polite with them ofc)

Some of them literally don't have phone numbers or online chat at all, some you're waiting in a long queue on call for hours when Twitter response is rapid, and then you can actually send screenshots of the problems you're having with their apps, websites, orders, account login, etc

Southern
Tesco

There's tonnes more I've had to rely on Twitter for years to reach these businesses

Tbh that can happen on any social media app because they're all unregulated - hopefully the EU law will soon change that

Hilary's take ages. My landlord has Hilary's as well and it took a month for them to come visit, and then another month to get the part in. Actual installation took maybe 10 minutes.

I just put up temporary blackout covers over the windows until they showed up.
