Maybe related?? When I lay down at night in a dark, quiet room, I hear big brass bands playing. I think it's related to tinnitus/ hyperacusis for me (though I do take synthroid, too)

I think it can be but not necessarily true for everyone. I have keen pattern recognition skills and other sensitivities (for lack of a better descriptor)
