October 8th is one of my favourite days because this one time on October 8th - I went to Christopher Columbus' birthplace and installed a plaque on his home, claiming the property on behalf of the Indigenous Peoples of the Americas.

When I turned 30 I had not yet written my first published book or my first published novel and did not know (or know of) some of the most important people in my life. I didn't know how much my life could still change, and did, after the age of 30. There is so much your life still yet to live.

Jewish brisket goes very herby and soaked in tomato sauce. Totally different spectrum. I think they chose these two because the difference wasn't as obvious.

My 2nd wife is Jewish and I have her family brisket recipe, and it's a schlep to make it, and from that I know neither of these Jewish brisket recipes in the video are up to par tbth. So I don't know if it's a totally fair competition, but that last one, omg, looked epic.
