Dedicated to support of my beloved wife/PhD. student ( @[email protected] ), I am a retired federal knowledge worker, an iconoclastic autodidact, a grand/step/parental unit to 8 young humans that I love. Currently researching Canadian public policy.

As the mayor said, his police force is outnumber by an armed, undisciplined violent federal gang. The implication is that it would be like the fictional battle in the song, "The Night Chicago Died"

My mid-term bet is that the AI bubble will collapse leaving data centre's like abandoned shopping malls. On the bright side, the proposed nuclear electrical generation build up to power them will help with the green transition that is an imperative.

Sell their treasury bills. Boycott T-bill issues. This not only is a consequence to the US, but insulates coi ties against the coming collapse of the #$US as the world's reserve currency. Such a thing can happen. It has happened historically. When it does, the tide turns surprisingly fast.

Why do Americans think they. An still host international gatherings like this and expect people to not stay away because it's taking place in a failed state with risky borders?

Forests are not captured by GDP figures (leaving aside carbon credits) until they are cut down and delivered to market.

Carney is, as are most orthodox economists, tone deaf to wealth inequality. His term at the bank of England marked a massive flow of capital to the wealthy and precious little thought to distribution. This is the essence of the affordability crisis as the increasingly wealthy outbid us for assets.

When the King is gone, the US will need to decide if the patrimonial form of government serves them- if more kings is what they want or if they would prefer self-government. The Trump dynasty with Don uo next and Barron warming up? - Nah.

Is this a response to the satirical article in the Halifax examiner dated August 6, 2025?

The arrest of Mark Carney will bring peace, prosperity, and freedom to North America - Halifax Examiner
As with the once-independent countries of Texas and California before it, Canada rightly should become a state under the flag of the United States.
