Yes. Nothing like the same thing. When I drive an electric car I use no brakes at all for most journeys. It comes to a complete stop on regen alone. The brakes are just for emergencies.

I think the new commission should just update the numbers in the Dilnot report to account for inflation etc, then we should get on with it. Anything else is a waste of time and money.

It would be good to see the other cities plotted separately. Also to see what happened before deregulation - did London and the rest used to grow at the same rates? Correcting for population change would be good too. London is probably a weird outlier but deregulation might not be the reason.
