Operational Regulations: The U.S. Navy and the FAA have strict safety regulations that prohibit supersonic flight at low altitudes over populated areas or near ships (unless in specific, controlled test scenarios not depicted here) precisely because of the destructive potential of sonic booms. Sonic Boom Dynamics: In real life, the sound of the sonic boom arrives on the ground or at an observer's location after the supersonic aircraft has already passed overhead, because the jet is traveling faster than the sound it produces. Many fake videos, including this one, incorrectly synchronize the visual effect with the sound at the moment of "breaking the barrier".

For decades, the dominant players in US health insurance were nonprofit Blue Cross (hospitals) and Blue Shield (doctors) plans, established primarily to ensure hospital funding and community access, not to generate shareholder profit. ​However, for-profit companies like Aetna and Cigna were already offering "major medical" coverage starting in the 1950s. They slowly grew their market share, leveraging closer ties to employers and aggressive marketing, which put increasing financial strain on the nonprofit Blues. ​The real shift to a for-profit-dominated market happened in the 1990s. Facing intense competition and rising costs, the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association finally voted in 1994 to allow its member plans to convert to for-profit companies. This massive conversion was driven by the need to raise capital on the stock market to compete, not a single piece of 1973 legislation. The 1974 ERISA law did bring more federal regulation to employee health plans, but it didn't usher in the for-profit insurance era.

The people at the time of writing the Bible never considered committed, 1-partner, same-sex relationships as possible. It was seen as self-gratifying & often abusive

The Bible only truly admonishes promiscuity which, even today, can be psychologically & physiologically harmful if one is not careful
We concluded that the Bible’s warnings about sexual sin (porneia) are not explicitly and exclusively aimed at promiscuity, but rather at any sexual act outside the sanctity of marriage. However, we made the cynical but true observation that the real-world harm the Bible is protecting people from (STIs, emotional chaos, instability) is the direct result of promiscuity (multiple, casual partners). Therefore, when two people (of any gender) enter into a legally recognized, committed marriage, they satisfy both the practical and spiritual demands: They reject the harmful chaos of promiscuity by being exclusive. They secure the sanctified container (marriage) that the biblical rule was attempting to enforce, regardless of the historical context that couldn't imagine same-sex commitment. The ultimate measure of a relationship's moral value is its deep, mutual commitment, which is the total opposite of a shallow, transactional hookup culture.

And the data strongly supports that: Only \sim10% of the 18-48 group has a truly debilitating condition that messes up their work life. That leaves the other \sim50% of people with a chronic condition (like your non-debilitating BBB or well-managed high cholesterol) who are still fully functional. For those functional people, their care often does boil down to: One annual physical (which is free under all HDHPs). Maybe a couple of follow-up blood tests or basic specialist visits a year. Routine, low-cost medication.
