At the local domestic level, California is set for the election of a new governor in 2026, as we have term limits, and Gavin Newsom’s term has maxed out. I’d vote for Katie Porter and the primary is in June 2026. I'm not voting for any religion-driven politician for the governor role in California.
My assessment of 2026 is that it would be a continuation of 2025. The US under DJT is set to lose influence in high-stakes global issues Russia-Ukraine and emerging China-Taiwan. At the domestic level, there is a Midterm election but the voting level is usually very low in Midterm American elections

7) Brainwashed Pro-Gaza kids attending classes and finishing degrees without protests and camping, at the global level - all year
8) Russia-Ukraine war: same status as last year - all year
9) Iran-Israel war: new beginning. Nuclear sites damaged in Iran - June 2025
10) US-Canada relations sour deep
4) >125 jets engaging in dogfights, the largest since World War 2 with India operating inside ~100 miles inside Pakistan destroying key camps of Jaish-e-Mohammad and Lashkar-e-Taiba and their families: May 2025

5) Rise of the LLM/AI - all year

6) Rise of global Islamic Jihadi
terrorism- all year
Turning point summary of 2025:
1) father-son duo killing 15 jews in Sydney, Australia - Dec 2025.
2) Beheading of an Indian at the workplace in front of family in Dallas, Texas - September 2025.
3) killing of 26 people in Pahalgam, India after checking their male organ was cut or not - April 2025.

Last submarine destroyed in an active war = 1971 Indo-Pak War
Second last destroyed in an active war = 1945 World War 2.

BS does not prevail in active wars same as submarines don't just burn. The 1971 war led to the creation of Bangladesh but they became bozo Islamists and ungrateful Jihadi anyway
If the PRC wants to pursue the Taiwan campaign with high risks and low payoff involved, then from a timing perspective, the DJT presidency is optimal. DJT is not known for military courage and strength and the PRC could always nominate him for a Nobel Peace Prize and buy his support same as Pakistan
The issue with the One-China policy, is that both China (PRC) and Taiwan (ROC) believe they are the legitimate one-China and claim each other as the legitimate one-China. It is not merely a territory dispute. ROC (Taiwan) believes that it is the legitimate China while the PRC believes it is them.

Taiwan is strong in firepower (#22) right after Ukraine (#20) and ahead of Vietnam, Saudi Arabia, Canada, etc but I was wondering if Taiwan has submarines and they do have some as they are like canaries of coal mines. The last submarine destroyed in a war was by India in 1971 since 1945 in the WW2.

My assessment has been that China risks a lot in the Taiwan campaign and the risk doesn't have a high payoff. It is very different from the Russia-Ukraine language-driven and Indo-Pak Islamic terrorism-driven disputes. Media people repeatedly call them war games but they are not video games. DJT MIA

DJT does not want to take on hard problems head-on. Even the Venezuelan campaign is led by the CIA which is following orders from the executive branch as DJT is on holiday vacation. DJT did not learn that he is also Commander-in-Chief of the US Armed Forces but DJT is a draft dodger Golfer-in-Chief.

While DJT is playing golf, this is quickly escalating and I have a holiday assignment for DJT. Given that the US is the backbone and top supplier of the Taiwan armed forces, is DJT going to engage the US military and deploy the US armed forces to Taiwan or not? If it's only 💰 aid, I know the winner.

I’d always support communities with a tiny population such as Jews, Zoroastrians/Parsis, etc as India became their homeland for many many centuries now as they were persecuted at their origins. Christians, Hindus, Muslims, Buddhists, Sikhs, etc are not minorities in my eyes at the global level.
The hatred of Jews has a long history in European society. 👇Pogroms & expulsions marred the history of almost every country in Europe in the middle ages and even in the modern era. This was based on the depiction of Jews as “Christ-killers” by Christian authorities aboutholocaust.org/en/facts/why...

Israel needs to take over Jerusalem, the West Bank, and the Gaza Strip under its governance.
Someone spread, from the software world, that the world is a small place 🤣. They have no clue that the world is a large place. The thing is that it requires travel to know the world instead of sitting and coding at a desk. I love how small the world is in many people's opinions 🤣. Are they on Mars🤣?
Many Christians and Muslims use the word Zionists as some slur. I can't laugh enough at it 🤣.

I'm also super happy for Israel. India has been a home for Jews since the 9th century BC. Many Indian jews moved to Israel after it was created in 1948 but many remain in India and have ties. Israel has a forever reliable partner in India which is amazing👏

I love the fact that only two ancient civilizations not only survived against all invaders but also thrive to the point that both are among the top 4 by top metrics such as population, military strength/firepower index, and economy/total GDP. The systems are working as intended.More power to people👏
I love the fact that all systems keep working as expected. The components (small systems in themselves) are all working as anticipated. There is one corner case that can generate some new system-level reactions and changes and I already wrote about its pros/cons. The world is better at macro-level 👏
What is common in those events is that zero of the current powerful world leaders were even known then and most are running on their prior generation’s work including Al-Qaeda and Jihadists. The systems have taken over the individual leaders now and the countries with populism will have slow growth.

The early millennial generation has witnessed some of the top world events whether in newspapers or the TV or directly: End of the Cold War, Fall of the Berlin Wall, Dissolution of the USSR, Rise of Islamic Terrorism, Fall of the Babri Mosque, Return of Hong Kong to China, 9/11 @NY, 26/11 @Mumbai 🤷‍♂️.

MAGA scams people and veterans on feelings. They sent a check of $1776, not even $1789 - that's like a scam. Why not $2000?

The US doesn't take care of its veterans for its wealth level, the #1 economy. I have seen many vets in the streets. Why can't the government take care of homeless veterans?

The US Armed Forces (Army/Navy/ Air Force etc) have long-term global exposure and life experiences unmatched by others. That’s why some of the most open-minded and blunt people I have ever worked with were from the US armed forces, Vets.

I can't say the same for our “politicians” and “ambassadors”.

Deng was educated in France and Russia. Global exposure matters. It directly opens eyes and ears based on life experiences. Books and movies can help with exposure but there is no match for real-life world exposure. Isolationist policy is for pond frogs. Trump’s isolationist policy will harm the US.
