also have no idea if its intentional but i love the reference/call back to the corkboard main menu from SNES Kirby Super Star by having the options be set against a table. Its a cool little reflection of real life/dev work and likely a nod to how the menus were first envisioned

Even if Kirby Air Riders is clearly taking a lot of UI elements from smash ultimate, I'm really really REALLY glad that the main menu dropped the Persona 5 influence and now just looks normal and good like older non smash Sakurai menus

from the fact that they've been missing their targets with gamepass since 2021, them stopping counting gp subs at all in 2023, and that they only started to post sub numbers again after they changed the name of xbox gold to xbox gamepass core (inflating the numbers)
