Kindness is always the best option. But also, sometimes kindness is tough love. And sometimes you have to be kind to yourself first.

In 2016 I shouted from the rooftops, “if this man becomes President we will be at war with our allies…” I may have predated it, and I know I’m not the only one that thought it. Well, here we are.
Tariffs might be Trump’s favorite word. To legendary investor Warren Buffett, there’s less to be excited about.

“Tariffs are actually — we’ve had a lot of experience with them — they’re an act of war, to some degree,” Buffett said. They serve as a tax on goods and could raise prices for consumers.
Warren Buffett: Tariffs are ‘an act of war’

"What can I do?"

That is the number 1 question I get asked. And at this time in our democracy -- or what remains of it when public servants put their loyalty to a person above their oaths of office— I am grateful that people are asking that question.

Below is a video with my answer:

Zelensky wasn’t kissing the ring and Trump didn’t like it. What a sh!tshow! Zelensky is a Hero and he is fighting for his country and his soldiers. Sadly he sounds as helpless as many of us feel.

NOAA is reportedly on the DOGE chopping block.

The National Weather Service, which is part of NOAA, provides life saving weather forecasting in the US.

A study found that for every $1 invested in NWS, it produces $73 in value to Americans.

Again, this isn't about efficiency.

Mr. President: Instead of stealing Greenland from Denmark, I have a better idea.

In Denmark, everyone is guaranteed health care, college education is free, parents receive 1-year of paid paternity leave & workers don’t make less than $22 an hour.

Let's steal those ideas.

A federal court has declared that warrantless searches of US person’s communications collected for national security purposes is unconstitutional. Now it’s our job to make sure Congress knows that when they renew this law in a little over a year.

In a landmark ruling, a federal district court held that backdoor searches of databases full of Americans’ private communications collected under Section 702 ordinarily require a warrant. Congress sho...

Do you know how much CEO pay has skyrocketed since 1978?

100%? 500%?

Try 1,085%

Meanwhile, the $7.25/hr fed. minimum wage hasn't budged in 15 years and the tipped min. wage has been $2.13/hr since 1991.

This is what I mean when I say the system is rigged.
CEO Pay Has Risen 1,085% Since 1978, But for Workers? Just 24% | Common Dreams
CEOs at top US companies saw their pay skyrocket by 1,085% since 1978, while typical worker pay only increased by 24%
