The SC wouldn't have been involved if Nader hadn't run. Bottom line is when one candidate is a fascist shit and the other one doesn't quite hit all-out buttons, by all means, vote for your purity candidate.

The solution, then, is for you to campaign strenuously for a progressive in the Dem primaries. 3rd parties gave us Bush And Trump.

You don't understand what that phrase means, so I will explain.
This does NOT refer to primaries where the parties candidate gets chosen. "Vote Blue no matter who" is for the general election where it comes down to a Democrat and a Republican. That is when you never vote for the republican.

Most everyday Republicans support trump. But, they don't see Democrats as a threat to the American idea. Many Democrats can't say the same about those who still support trump.
