As a paraplegic this is a real issue. Often I will board a plane and there will be 5 others being wheeled on, and they all walk off fine. There is an epidemic of people faking it.

That’s it’s helpful for coding, and my engineer friend says when he is drawing plans the ai is helpful and he is training the younger engineers how to maximize it.

No it’s not a career for me. I’m not into tech in the slightest. But u can tell ai is a real thing and will make people more productive. It’s already happening.

That is your experience with a chat bot. In engineering, design, finance, etc ai is making real substantial productivity improvements. This will start to be visible over the next few years.

Also ai hasn’t promised you anything. Founders selling stock have. There is a big difference. Have to tune out the noise at times.

I think it’s astounding that I can make ai images and videos. It speeds up research. It’s clearly helping swe’s. I can only speak to my experience, but many have a fearful attitude towards new tech. Who cares if it’s a bubble? It’s not my money.

It’s just weird how anti technology many liberals are lately. It’s ok to admit that ai is incredibly useful at certain things and not so much at others.
