Would love to know why I'm getting this deja vu feeling so hard today.

2026 is certainly coming in with some attitude.

* 1 car down and in the shop;
* 1 laptop down and a new one on order;
* We bombed Venezuela;
* I got a hike in.

There is no bad weather just bad planning and bad clothing. Great day for a hike! […]

Order new drive for laptop: It’s the wrong form-factor.
Idea: Install in other laptop!
Bad: Battery is, uh, ballooning.

Not how I wanted to start this weekend…

A New Year Miracle! Special Counsel Jack Smith had a private deposition with the House of Representatives. The full transcript has been released.

TL;DR: The evidence showed that President Trump committed some horrendous crimes against America and that evidence left zero reasonable doubt.

Great […]

Breakfast was roasted sweet potato with red onion (seasoned with "Miracle Blend" [a local spice blend I think] and Slap Ya Momma) and topped with two fried eggs, sunny side up. Coconut oil was used (unrefined). No photo.

Seems like it'd be easier for the local news to just tell us what _is_ open versus closed today... Rough morning with that frozen rain + snow.

I derive great joy in bar conversations that center around the modern Christian worldview. Such as “Thou shalt not kill” _actually_ means “Thou shalt not murder.” As in it is A-OK to “God” to go out and kill an army in the name of… your country? Church? God?

I just really find it fun to ask […]

A Twelve Hour Saga With My Dog, Tressa

> Approximately 3PM: Cat knocks down the small lego set; dog chews on and eats said lego set.
> Approximately 3:AM: Dog pukes up said lego set; dog proceeds to lick and eat the lego set again.

I envision another fun few moments around 3PM today. You know […]

What I'm getting from these Epstein files is that far far too many of my fellow citizens, especially those with power and platforms, are OK with abuse of others so long as they maintain their lifestyles.

This is now how I was raised. It is shocking to see it so blatantly and in black and white.

One benefit of working from home, especially around the holidays, is the fact that I can easily cook at home.

I could have sworn that it was illegal, evil, and wrong for the son of the President to put their dad on speakerphone to impress their friends.

* Dedupes my library to save disk space;
