- Amid the current boom in AI for Science, the structure of scientific research itself is shifting. AI-generated papers, AI-assisted peer review, and detection systems are influencing academic communication and conference operations. I want to witness and remember this transitional moment.

- The rapid expansion of NeurIPS reflects the current AI boom. Basic research has never before translated into industrial value with such short lead times, and economic incentives are deeply connected to academic gatherings. I want to feel the vibe of the intertwinedness of academia and industry.

Below are my expectations before attending:

As someone with limited stamina and an introverted personality, I can already foresee that I will make almost no new connections and will return exhausted. Nevertheless, I want to write down my intentions for attending, and write down a few goals.
