Mate. You didn’t weaken it. He did. You now have to deal with the reality and the only viable solution is a closer relationship with Europe (and probably CANZ, Japan, Korea, Singapore). Including (horrible though it is) urgent convos with France about a genuinely independent nuclear deterrent

The obvious point is that in the Judean society that Christians came from there absolutely was (and nearly half of the old testament is a succession of prophets berating the Israelites for failing to fulfil their responsibilities on that score).
