What's going on in the last week in crypto regulation? On March 7, the OCC rescinded interpretive guidance that previously discouraged banks from engaging in crypto asset activities.

The FBI released a blacklist highlighting wallet addresses linked to the theft of $1.5B in crypto assets via the Bybit Hack. If you're moving virtual assets around, take care to block transactions with or derived from addresses the "TraderTraitor" addresses listed in the link below.

The SEC has replaced its Crypto Assets and Cyber Unit with the new Cyber and Emerging Technologies Unit (CETU).

CETU is expected to focus on cyber-related misconduct, complementing the Crypto Task Force’s efforts to address fraud involving AI, blockchain, crypto, and cybersecurity compliance.
