Mr Prime Minister - your message to nursing is "we have your back", so why have we learnt today you will not be pursuing long-overdue reforms to Agenda for Change?

The government had a chance to set nursing on a new path, instead it has attached itself to the status quo.

We're backing a new Bill being introduced by Dawn Butler MP which would legally protect the title of "nurse".

This change would bring the UK in line with international best practices, helping protect patients. We're urging the UK government and other parties to back it.
