The Founders actually thought that people living in rural areas were less educated, unsophisticated, and could be easily conned by grifters and carpetbaggers. They came up with the electoral college as a way to counteract that. They got some things wrong for sure.

We are in an age where the access to knowledge is the greatest it's ever been; and also in an age where access to lies and miss-information is the greatest it's ever been. We have the least educated public in decades. We have the same devices in our pockets, but we don't all look at the same info.

I grew up watching news and talk shows under the Fairness Doctrine and you are wrong; it had a big impact. What you are telling me is you have no plan or ideas other than to say we can't do stuff. Saying we can't is no solution.

That report says the states can NOT prove the vote counts are correct. That is a big problem. Dismissing propaganda as just an excuse is exactly what they Billionaires want you doing.
