Received a lovely email from a colleague in Tokyo.
“I learned this flower is called 雪割草, which translates to something like “snow breaking grass.” It is a symbol of the start to spring and I do feel spring is approaching here in Tokyo. Enjoy the last bit of winter and the approaching spring!”
