From this interaction, I learned that I should first ask, "What could change your mind about your hatred of Trudeau?"
If the answer is "nothing," I will walk away from the conversation.
What could convince me to *hate* (I guess) Trudeau is evidence that his policies have hurt me.

Of course, that didn't change his hatred of Trudeau (note: I vote Green, not Liberal). He came up with vapid criticisms of each. For example, I said 80% of the Canadians with the lowest incomes pay less taxes, and his response was, "Well, that money had to come from somewhere!" (cont)
