With the Black Friday sale going on I’ll probably pick up these gals to go with the rest of my partisans. They say French but they should pass as Italian in 28mm. How different could continental European styles have been in 1940?

Back from a trip to Shanghai for work. Got to finally try century eggs. Not terrible, not great. Would eat them again if available but wouldn’t go out of my way to find them.

Had a work trip this week so I brought along some Finns to paint up during my eventings to add to my army. This represents 2x light mortars and 2x autocannon crews.

Made a start on some Finnish tanks before I have to go on a work trip. I used Vallejo chipping medium but it seemed to pool in bigger clumps. I’m thinking it may have dried out a little and I need to thin it down for next time.

Got my tables laid out for the tournament tomorrow. I feel bad since they’re not fully done and painted but with vacation, the holiday, and work travel I had very little time to throw this together. Hopefully it goes well.

My son and I each got a Mystery Box from Warlord this go around. The Italian box is awesome. The Belgians leave a bit to be desired but it’s definitely a fun little force.
