Exactly - any such an order coming from Trump would escalate an Executive branch crisis & showdown with the military. Trump firing members of the Chiefs would only aggravate this. The problem is, each time he gets pulled back by reason, Stephen "Wormtongue" Miller gets in his ear.

We have to take Trump seriously over his statements, but even in his administration, no one is seriously planning on "invading" Greenland. Not Marco Rubio, not the Joint Chiefs, not even Pete Hegseth and JD Vance. This is all about posturing. No responsible military leader will go along with it.

The U.S. needs to provide more air defense systems and tomahawk missiles to Ukraine NOW. And the Europeans need to provide air cover/no fly zone for Ukrainian civilian infrastructure, including energy systems.

The only reason that gop Senate & House members haven't spoken up is that trump likely has no intention of ordering military action on Greenland. This is about securing Greenland's mineral rights. There is also a question about whether any military leader would go along with such a venture.

I'd don't like lil Marco but he'd be a better choice for president than Vance.

I believe the Colorado 2026 plan is to never punt on 4th down, score often on offense, then conduct on-sides kicks on every kickoff.
