Anyone curious why Judge Merchan couldn’t at least have considered imposing a 3-year jail term suspended until noon on Jan 20, 2029, when the defendant would again become merely Citizen Trump?
Why no concrete consequences at all?
Surely not because he might try to hold onto office indefinitely!

He should have never been allowed to run for office, according to Section 3 of our 14th Amendment.
He, an adjudicated rapist and convicted felon, does not deserve the honor and prestige of the presidency.
He deserves scorn and derision. He deserves PRISON time.
