Anyone know how American Football seeding works please? Even tho i find it oddly wonderful that #chicagobears are supposedly no.1 seed, and altho the #larams lost to the Panthers, the Rams have better points for & against.

When Shazam gives me the name of a tune but when I look it up on YouTube it’s a 30 minute mix of several tunes, grrrrr! I thought Shazam found single distinct tracks, not mixes 🤷♂️ (“Frances Dj” often comes up, and his mixes are an hour or more!)

TV via freeview (and old style aerial) came as part of flat but so often bad weather will kick off interference that can last for days after the initial disruption.

Bought one of these in 2020. Thought £79 now was rather high, thinking 2020 price was lower. Apparently £89 in 2020 so probably price for the actual product might have halved but other aspects have brought them back close to the 2020 price. Did consider 2x2Gb (diff manufacturer) but diff of 65 vs 79

Revelstoke, that brings back (good) memories. 30(!)yrs ago spending a week driving from Vancouver to Banff to Jasper to Whistler (presumably via Kamloops) and back to Vancouver. Sister and a friend of hers with me in the car. Late fall. The colours stuck in my mind. Montage of pics above my bed.

I’m glad I’m of no influence or not in a position to change (government?) policy because there’s no way I could ignore the agenda of the dirty fuel lobby, despite clean energy poss growing at 3% regardless. Listened twice 2nd half ep. Powerful thoughts. PS whose version of pragmatic do you believe?

My landlord trying to shame me! But I vociferously argued that the same would exist in his shower outlet if his plumbing comprised of a flexible outlet pipe with loads of ridges to prevent smooth exit. When the shower was replaced a few years ago smooth pipes should have been installed!

I pulled into a layby this afternoon then realised it might actually be the approach road to a house I could just see up an incline. Then I saw that cat! Just sitting there. Watching me. For ages. Then it disappeared 😬….

Even tho I loved longer length, more in keeping with my rock origins, the shorter is more sensible. Also with the longer length the colour was a mess with some strands keeping colour and others loosing it. With the shorter length it should be more consistent and able to ‘hide’ lesser coloured areas

With the temp in my flat having risen to 30C I decide to remove the filler from the window that was according to theory was keeping the heat out. Yeah, right! After removing, the temp hasn’t immediately dropped but it feels cooler, with a slight breeze and I’ve stuck the fan in the opening as well.

Like what’s the fucking point! This is poss the most extreme I’ve seen on Bluesky, and as I blocked them I noticed a post near the top of their feed was about the big orangutan. I’m beginning to wonder if there’s any point in continuing with Bluesky.

Sister normally works from home but yesterday she had to go somewhere for a few hours. She got home about 20-30mins after this. My nephew would have been getting home from school about the same time, usually lost in music. Car rolled from care home end of road. Weird sight as leaving her house!

Cracking album. Had its 30yr anniversary a couple of days ago. I bought it a few days after it came out. 30 years! Moshed many times to these tunes in the last 30yrs at gigs. Still loving it. Just played it again, with the obligatory air guitars and air drums 😀 #therapy

New (front) vs old. Apparently they have a 9hr life but I’m wondering if that’s actually a naughty misleading marketing ploy and it’s actually 9hrs total for the pair, much like the old pair. Will find out tomorrow in work.
