This is the key issue when it comes to scaling regenerative agriculture and people having this notion that we can “Americanize” the agricultural workforce. It’s not physically or economically impossible; it’s culturally impossible.

The amount of people in every society that genuinely want to do it is much much smaller than the amount of people required to do it, and more importantly you need temporary seasonal labor that moves constantly which is pretty much the opposite of a coop.

Why is it so difficult for Trumpers to know immigrants have federal tax deducted from their paychecks, state taxes also deducted and literally donate to social security bc they will never be able to collect if they don't spend 20 yrs trying to be "LEGAL".

Decades ago, while visiting family in Coffeyville, KS, I noticed an abundance of menorahs in windows around town. I mentioned to grandma that I didn't realize there were so many Jews in rural Kansas. She replied that she didn't know any, but the hardware store just had a sale on electric menorahs.

I’m sure there are negatives, but, personally, I’d love to cut out the middlemen and buy the one med I take direct from the manufacturer. I save money doing that with other products.
