And here's what most impressed me about it...

Oh, well. As I always say, there will be others! 😊👍

(It also serves as another reminder that there are still some great bargains to be had out there, even when it comes to interesting and fun cars. Just need to keep an eye out...)

A few more pics...

(I have done the apply-for-V5C thing, but only with permission. Just a sore spot at the mo, I think: some places have made it seem a legitimate method to take ownership of a car and, in some recent cases, I've seen classics effectively stolen from properties, re-registered, then offered for sale.)

That's definitely true. As far as I'm aware (although I stand to be corrected), that said, they can only do so after what's considered adequate notice has been served – and, even then, if they sell the car, whatever money is left after the debt/interest has been settled still belongs to the owner.

Doesn't make you the legal owner, either – so you can end up having to give it back later, which could hurt if you'd spent money on it, or you might get reported for theft. Puts you on dodgy ground when selling it, too.

Yeah, that's what I'd do. Get the rocker cover sorted, detail it from nose to tail, sort out the underside, etc. It's got stacks of history, so you'd hope some of the suspension (and the rest) has been freshened up at some point. Something that could be tackled as you went, at any rate...

Fab! Hope you're well, by the way – be grand to catch up in 2026! ☺️👍

Yeah. I still flirt with the idea of another Corvette, from time to time, but I'd just really prefer something with a fixed roof and something that's a bit more supported/easier to work on. (And something that'd be less problematic if I, say, put it into a barrier on a track).

Thanks! 😊👍

The cab is made from the taxi donor, too (and uses the doors, glass, etc.), and there's a lot of of the original structure under there. Engine and drivetrain, too.

That's an ownership box I'd like to tick one day. 😎👍

It's also available at other retailers, including Waterstones, the Google Play Store, TGJones, Kobo, and Hive.

If you pick up a copy, I hope you enjoy it – and all and any ratings, reviews, and shares, will be much appreciated.
