some features do require the internet to work, like viewing artwork up close, or the pokedex voice thing. Movesets, dex entries and such do work!

I use the app datadex for android, it does offer an ad free option for a one time purchase! Though i get not wanting to pay for it. I do love all the features it has! it even has an option to read the dex entries out loud like the pokedex in the anime :3
