A friend of mine was asked by the server in a LA restaurant to let her know if he had any questions about the menu. His response - what font is it in? - was, sadly, met with a completely blank look.

I can beat that. At a certain organisation for which I once worked it was well known that àn unmarried member of staff’s child had been conceived with the help of a married member of the same department AT the Christmas party.
