Haha, the diesel Clio was quite sprightly, but definitely not in the same league as a V6.

Very nice! It's absolutely miserable today, we've treated ourselves to lunch out to make up for it.

Apparently:

Graham Hill drove it almost constantly on full throttle, using the brakes to overcome the power to slow down.

The car completed the race on a single set of tyres, but used 8 sets of brakes.

The interior is trimmed in two tone corduroy, an interesting choice for a racing car.

Each to their own, but that's no looker (to me anyway).

Is the Dacia Jogger Hybrid the answer? Or is that too big (and also still quite pricey as it's so new)?

Their website says, "one of the last off the production line", so presumably it's not the last one but close to it.
