I never really gelled with spellcasters in DnD or Pathfinder. I've been playing for nearly 10 years now and I've always gravitated towards barbarian or gunslinger.

The more I think about it, does anyone actually like the action system in DnD? I mean I don't hate it, but I don't think I'd prefer it over any other action system I've used in TTRPGs.

I'm glad when I started web development years ago I was building brick and mortar HTML pages, learning HTML and CSS and all, but moving to React has been an eye opener.

I need to broaden my TTRPG repertoire in general too. My friend ran a Call of Cthulu campaign once and it was super fun. I'd love to get into Warhammer or Cyberpunk.

I always end up back with Pathfinder 2e when I do campaigns, even if they're DnD-based. The action economy of PF always seemed more appealing to me.
