I think there should be a way to “trade citizenship” for people that otherwise would be acceptable citizens.

Like, say, hockey cards… trade you a Team Canada for a Team USA.

Of course, everything old is new again…

Damn. Been listening to Post Malone’s new album (and added tracks on Apple Music) for three days - “F1 Trillion.”

The BEST country album I’ve heard in a long, long time.

In 1979 I was in St. Petersburg, then Leningrad, in the U.S.S.R., and our group visited the Piskaryovskoye Memorial Cemetery.

Raised mass graves, of some 470,000 people - mostly civilians. Killed mostly during the Siege of Leningrad.

Have never, ever, seen the Russian people the same again.

But, uh, why? LOL…

Unless you’re skiing. Then, by all means.

In the last 30 days:

Tokyo, Phuket, Banff.

In the next 90 days:

Montana, Vegas, Italy.

I feel like I’m starting to get this “living” thing down at 62 years of age.

Travel experience is amazing.. but can be exhausting. Returning from Thailand and Japan, including drive home from Calgary, a total of about 45 hours in airports, on planes, and the last two hours in vehicle.

Would I do it again? Yup.

Driving to ski hills in winter, and having been in a winter head-on…. you would get it. I think.

Or not. But I like mine. World’s big enough for people to like different shit.

Stayed in Podstrana for a week, was a wonderful experience - anyone going there must try the ćevapi from Ćevap House… and of course, the amazing dining experience from up high at Konoba Argola.

If you have to write away from home.. there are worse places than Phuket, Thailand to do it!

Pashkov House, Moscow, Russia.

Not much for pizza, but a nice varenyky/pampushky place just across the road on way to the Kremlin.

So. Bluesky seems to attract the Comic Book crowd.

What’s your take on Venom: The Last Dance?

I thought it was almost good. Loved Juno Temple in Ted Lasso and The Offer, but she was pretty weak here, as was Chiwetel Ejiofor.

Still enjoyed the Tom Hardy/Venom schtick.

7/10.

Hate that term… I recall me and my pals listening to Bob Seger and Foreigner driving around in our shitty ‘70’s cars….

Then, current time, you go see a 70’s band with a sea of middle and lower. middle-class fans wearing their original faded Def Leppard t-shirts.

“Yacht rock” lol…
