They definitely would have lasted longer than Poland plus Hitler wouldn’t have had the pretty decent Czech tanks for his panzer divisions. Hindsight is wonderful thing abc it’s understandable that British and French after WW1 were very reluctant to go to war.

Maybe the UK thinks it will get enough orders through its European JVs such as eurofighter and Grippen that it thought the price tag was way too high …
