I attended the Gainesville, Ga Saturday. Met a penguin with a lady fanning him to keep him cool. We had over 500 attended Saturday. ALL were supportive and NO problems

I want to be certain about this and I would appreciate confirmation. I have been to Disney World’s EPCOT’s American Experience. It is inspiring to watch. However I may not return to it as I believe I saw Musk in the compilation film. It needs editing out if true.

It is better to be thought stupid than opening one’s mouth and prove it. Today the President and VP did both in front of the world. Apologies to Ukraine and their President for what was endured as a childish tirade by two non-leaders at the Whitehouse. As an American, I am embarrassed.

Actually the program is called “Impossible Peace: The Time Between World Wars”. Found on Prime Video. Worth watching.

Watching history between the Two world wars on YouTube. I discovered a quote from Hitler in his early rise to power. His words: “I don’t care if the world loves or reviles us, what I care is that the world MENTIONS us”.

@maddow.msnbc.com A bit paraphrased:
To this new adm in Washington DC:
“To those who only learn history from the time of their birth will only have the mind of a child and do childish actions”.

@petebuttigieg.bsky.social May I recommend your time in doing a daily press conference starting Sunday’s? Maybe through Thursday’s to give clear and honest message to a confused and discouraged populous? We must counter the lies and delusions with truth/facts and how things really work for good. Thx

There is a fine line between imagination and illusion. Keep that in mind when moving forward.
The same is said of vision and delusion.

BTW If my history me, Julius became Caesar with the support of the poor and disgruntled masses. Look where that went for Rome’s future as a super-power.
PS How many Caesars were assassinated while in power in Rome? Do people in ultimate power ever consider that prospect?

A bit parapharsed:
A person who only knows things since birth remains in a child’s mind. Cicero said it much better when he was describing Rome as a Republic (balance of power, shared by aristocrats, true, but no one person held that power). This was changed with the advent of Caesars.
