The revolutionary new MULTIDECK…

Thanks to the Bristol Post for this scan of an ad for the opening of Bristol’s iconic Rupert St car park. Due to be demolished for a couple more unimaginative boxes of student accommodation.

I firmly oppose the government’s plans for compulsory digital ID cards.

This is an affront to our civil liberties, and will make the lives of minorities even more difficult and dangerous.

It is excessive state interference — and must be resisted.

New on Substack, my post on Balfron Tower - the experience of its residents and its controversial sell-off and renovation (The images below from 2011 and 2024 show how radically it was butchered.) It's now a hard-to-let block in the private rental sector.

If anybody wants to commission me, I'm open. I thought that after five years of chasing, pitching & hassling for countless £100-200 gigs, which take a tonne of work, I may get better public or private commissions & offers coming my way. But, my £600 income this summer suggests not.

💥 At 11am this morning the 8 cooling towers at Cottam Power Station will be demolished, after looming large over the Nottinghamshire landscape for more than 50 years.

Do you believe we should preserve a set of Britain’s fast vanishing cooling towers?

New on Substack, the Watling Estate: ‘Building the new England’. It questions why a sometimes demonised, sometimes romanticised working class is so continually subject to middle-class judgement, whether liberal or conservative. It's one of my favourites.

I've now included 3 add-ons to the Kickstarter so it's a way you can increase your support if you wish, whilst getting something extra for it!
Signed copies of Travelogue 2 and The Last Stand, and of course the print of Bluebird the sheep.

Two concerned citizens are arrested as terrorists, and put in handcuffs, for the heinous crime of holding up cardboard signs opposing the genocide in Gaza. Meanwhile the Israeli government starves the people of Gaza to death, and uses their children as target practice, with total impunity.
