I've received a small set of advance copies of ‘The Edge of Ruin’. Excited that I will have some copies to show at BOP Bristol this weekend.
Opening the box is so nerve racking, but I’m so happy with the job that the printers & binders have done. Exactly as myself and @wayneford.co.uk envisioned it.

Recovery.
I am acutely aware how lucky I am, recovering with warmth and heat under quiet skies.
In Kyiv, family members recover in minus 15 temperatures with no heat or electricity for much of the day, with the constant threat & attack of drones and missiles

Separated from France by only 21 miles of sea, Kent has often been threatened by invasion. During WW2, new anti-invasion defences were built, such as those at Abbot’s Cliff between Dover and Folkestone. Coastal batteries were established and earlier ones were re-armed....

So, do me a favour, read my essay about my family’s experiences, cast your ‘critical’ gaze upon it & then tell me exactly how it’s ’gothic fiction’ & 50% bullshit & I’ll can then demonstrably show you it’s 100% truth.

Was due to be on a plane to a snowy Poland today to make work on one of my projects, but injury has put paid to that.
So instead it’s more cinematography and sound work on the documentary film my wife is making.

Photography can be many things but for me it’s mostly a weapon to be used against injustice and social inequality.
Your last chance to see the Outsiders exhibition in its current form will be at Street Level Photoworks, Glasgow in April/May. That isn’t the end though as I’m developing a powerful new exhibition on homelessness, in collaboration with another photographer, which will be shown in Leeds in 2027.
