A Reds “ace” coming up small in a big moment, as usual. It’s been YEARS of waiting for someone like Jose Rijo for game one.

Could have placed him on the IL for left arm ineffectiveness. He’s been dreadful since spring training opened.

I’d love to see the strike zone square on the broadcast banished forever. Maybe that can be one of the MLB innovations.
I’m in SC so this won’t change how I watch the games but I’m glad the blackout is over for others.
