As I've been noting a lot lately, anti-Muslim rhetoric has been skyrocketing in Texas lately. Last year Abbott declared CAIR a terrorist organization; Steve Bannon just set up shop in Texas to combat Sharia Law; and top Texas AG candidates are running on vows to attack Muslims if elected.
A Muslim activist tried to tell Texas education leaders about a growing wave of Islamophobia. Some of them called her a terrorist.
