Exactly why when I saw this I couldn't have agree harder with it.

As Thameslink gets the journey off to a strong start. Fortunately this was the first of 4 "rapid fire" trains which would make the connection with no running.

I've decided I'm a fan of lounges which let you sit, relax, and watch the station function.
The view from Aberdeen station's new first class lounge. Showing the platform (up to 6 South) entrances, barrier line and about ¼ of the concourse. A few passengers and staff are going about their business.
